For Me to Remember
Every so often we recieve the perfect line that can stump anyone who argues with you... If we're lucky we may even think of it when we actually need it and not the week afterwards! Annnnnnyways, I had a lucky day... And now so that I don't forget what I said I'm writing it down.
So Annnnnywas, I was walking home from my church last wednsday as it was "Community Service Hours Day" So I had the day off to work at my church. And I was coming home reading my Bible when I passed by a girl probably my sister's age who responded to me reading the bible as most Canadians do by blurting out "Ewwwwww, Are you a Christian?" At which point I smirked and replied "Ewwwww, You wear Glasses?" I continued my smirk of victory as I watched her struggling for a response to my comment and finally she looked at me frustrated and replied "Well That's different, I HAVE to wear glasses, I have no choice in it!" All of a sudden a stroke of genious hit me and came out before I could realise how cool it was, Thinking quickly I replied, "No you don't! You don't HAVE to wear glasses! You'll trip over a lot of things and maybe even seriously injure yourself but you don't have to! So it is with Christianity." And at that she left with much to think about.

What does it mean to be a Christian? Is it a label? Does it mean you read your bible when walking (dangerous), or give smirking smart mouth responses, or show love to others? I wonder?
I know I already wrote a comment in answer to you but I'm changing my answer as I did not like my origional answer. So here's take two if you are going to read this.
You ask me what does it mean to be a Christian... I reply by simply say this. You can't define Christianity, If I was to define Christianity I would then be saying that what I say is Christianity. I cannot tell you what Christianity is as in Christianity we are constantly learning what God wants us to do, As I'm still learning I am not quite fit to tell you the direct meaning of this. If you do want to know what Christianity means I would suggest looking in the bible, it's must more trustworthy than me as it is all true and I am not. I hope this helped you somewhat.
